EPHEMERAL FRINGES Curated by Filip Luyckx – artistic director Sint-Lukasgalerie, Brussels. This exhibition project unites the independent positions of widely varying Belgian and international artists. All their individual approaches together fuel the same basic idea and atmosphere. The small-scale interventions are a response to the short duration, the complex structure and the limited space available in the fair. The artists’ contributions provide the fair with a commentary, a complement, a footnote or a marginal note. They are related to the ephemeral, the fringe activities, the interactive and the reflective, and are given the name EPHEMERAL FRINGES. Participating artists : |
